When you’re raised in the South, you learn a few things. You learn to say “yes, ma’am” and “no, sir.” You learn that, more often than not, the elders are right. It’s just how we do things around here. There are life lessons in everything—and I’m here to share a bit of my journey along the way. From motherhood to running a business, to trying my hand at decorating (a work in progress, I promise), and even some DIY—especially when the hubby gets involved.
